Chassis’structure is created by interlocking braces in a pattern while the other parts of the chair have no structural function. Chassis has extremely light weight and sturdy structure and is available in three colors – black, white and gray. It’s suitable for cafeterias and meeting areas.
The distinctive design of the frame consiss of deep drawn sheet steel- a manufacturing process called space frame technology from the automotive industry that provides comfort and flexibility with sleek design. According to Wilkhahn “the combination of a variety of unitary, membrane-like seat- and backrest shells produces models that set any design concept apart”.
